Gastrointestinal Parasites
Symptoms
The cow will be seen as emaciated; Abdominal diarrhea with foul smell is observed. The stomach is salty; does not take prey; The fur on the body is large: small maggots are sometimes found on the mane.
Reasons
In cattle, roundworms such as roundworms are transmitted through water, fodder, pasture, and insects such as snails. Larvae develop from the young eggs of the insects on the pasture ground when they are ingested by livestock.
Remedies
- Veliputti leaf 50 g Pelinalangai 50 g. Mix them with 100 ml of neem and give twice in the morning and evening.
- Take 25 grams each of Vasambu, white garlic, goat's milk, saffron, beikumati leaves, grind it and mix it with hot water and give it inside at the same time.
- Grind 15 grams of satavari root (watered tuber) and mix it with half a liter of water and give it to calves early in the morning to get rid of worms.
- Take 50-100 seeds of Supabul and grind them in water and add 200 ml. Feed the goats with enough water and the worms will come out dead and alive. This method is used in the Philippines.
- For hookworm, soak 8-10 ground nuts in water and give inside. For tapeworms, 100 grams of crushed pomegranate bark and root should be given internally.
- Take 100 grams of neem leaf flower bark and papaya seed and grind it and mix it in lukewarm water and give it three times in the morning and evening.
- Grind 100 grams of pumpkin seeds and give them for 5 days to get rid of flatworms.
- Grind 50 grams of neem oil and make 50 ml. A mixture of castor oil also cures mouth and stomach ulcers in goats. Worms are also destroyed.
- Goats lemon 6 old tamarind a handful of castor leaves 5 grind together and give it inside, worms will come out with dung.
- Mix 200 grams of groundnut flour with warm water and give it once daily for up to 5 days. Or neem oil 250 ml. It should be given continuously for three days.
- 200 grams of leaves of Sarakkonnai tree, which blooms in yellow color, should be ground and given internally.
- Take one Tulukkasamanti flower called Sentumalli and grind it and mix it with quarter liter buttermilk and give it for 3 days.
- Grind 10 grams of ground neem, ground neem, mountain neem leaf, saffron, goat's pea, small kurinjan and mix it in warm water and give it inside for 3 days at night.
- Grind 25 grams of bean sprouts, a handful of mountain neem pods and add 500 ml. Mix it with water and give it inside.
- Grind 100 grams of Parundumbai leaves and mix with 200 ml of ghee.
- Neem oil 150 ml. 20 grams of turmeric powder, 20 grams of powdered black cumin and half a liter of fresh water should be mixed together and taken inside early in the morning.
- Take 2 inches of talaicuruli root (Ishvara herb) and mix it with 100 ml of water. (or) Varikumati Leaf Brandy Thumbai Tulsi Cucumber Musumusukka Tahikuruli Each of these
- Grind 50 grams of salt in a handful and give it in the morning and evening and the next morning for 3 consecutive days.
- Grind 2 handfuls of Goat Tinnapala leaves and extract the juice and mix it with 100 ml of lamp oil and give it once.
- Cut a half-foot long stem of the beetle and then blow it. The juice from it is 100 ml. Take it and add 20 grams of turmeric powder and mix it.
- Finger Turmeric Half a piece of Cucumber 1 plant Pepper 20 ghee Grind these and apply them.
- 25 ml per variety Take the rate and add 50 grams of black pepper and give it inside.
- Kollangoi tuber 2 parts talaicuruli root 2 parts pelinangai leaf 1 part these three should be dried in the shade and crushed and kept as a poultice and should be given at the rate of 60 grams 3 times a day for 3 days continuously.
- Take 300 grams of Pungka seeds, grind them, mix them with 2 liters of water and boil them till one-third dry. It can be given only once to big cows. It should not be given to lactating and pregnant cows.
- For intestinal worms in goats, 10 gms of ground saffron, mixed with 2 liters of lukewarm water, are finely ground. 200 ml per goat. Rate should be entered.
- Take equal parts of Esuvara herb kollango, tuber, suru kurinjan, visammalli, small anangai leaf and keep it dry in the shade. 50 grams of pepper powder should be mixed for about 1 kg of powder. Mix it with 10 liters of water and make 100 ml. If given to goats, it cures diseases such as worm infestation and fever.
